Remote Virtual Server Administration
The whole concept of a Virtual Server or Virtual Hosting (which is what most other hosting providers offer) is based on remote administration. Many small to medium sized business simply cannot afford to install a T1 into their office (let alone a DS3) and lay down the capital, time, and human resources necessary to maintain a dedicated connection to the Internet. A Virtual Server allows you to have a dedicated presence on the Internet and maintain it remotely via a low cost dial-up connection.

User Interfaces
There are several user interfaces that allow you to administer your Virtual Server in an easy-to-use and comfortable environment.

  • iManager
Our most comprehensive tool is iManager. iManager provides wizards that guide you through the step-by-step process of uploading files to your Virtual Server, managing files, creating e-mail accounts, and much more. Because iManager runs from your web browser (Netscape Navigator, Internet Explorer, and others), accessing your Virtual Server is as easy as surfing a web site.

  • ACE Server Control
ACE Server Control is a powerful java application that is installed on your local computer. ACE allows the Virtual Server administrator to perform the most common administration tasks using an intuitive graphical user interface. ACE requires that you download an application to your local computer.

  • Telnet or SSH
Providing shell account access to our Virtual Servers is a fundamental part of our philosophy. By using a Telnet or SSH client, you can connect to your Virtual Server from anywhere in the world, and log in as if you were sitting right in front it.

The UNIX O/S
At the core of of our hosting technology is the UNIX Operating System (O/S).
